As our pets live longer, we are seeing increasing numbers of dogs and cats that live long enough to show signs of cognitive dysfunction syndrome (CDS). As with dementia in humans, CDS is an insidious and progressive disease. Early identification and treatment can help slow the symptoms and improve quality of life for the pet and the family.
